Hey everyone - Welcome to the 2023 spring volleyball season! My name is Lucy and I will be co-coaching with Carly. We are both in high school and have played volleyball for many years. Carly has played for 4 years as an opposite hitter as well as a setter. I have played for 6 years as an outside hitter and as a defensive specialist (DS).  We hope to share our love of volleyball and encourage the girls to continue playing. 

Practice and match details - Our first practice is on March 23 and we will continue to have practice on Thursdays at Haycock ES from 5:30-7:00. We encourage the girls to bring kneepads and plenty of water. Our first match is on April 15 so we have plenty of time to prepare. You can access the schedule via our team page, on the left side column by clicking schedule. Goals - Since there is an equal playing time policy we will be teaching everyone each position. We will begin with the fundamentals of volleyball since we prepare for players with zero experience.  Since there are many girls with different skill levels we ideally cater to each player's skill level.  We also want to create an encouraging and fun learning environment. But most importantly, we want our players to be enthusiastic about practices and games.
